Our guest speaker, Susan Joyce, is the authority on SEO. She has used it to create one of the most famous blogs–millions of followers–and help job seekers through in-person and Zoom presentations. Why is SEO important? Because of the new technology used by recruiters and employers today, to be successful in your job search and career, you must be found when employers are searching for you or for someone with your skills. And what recruiters find should support your professional skills and your fit for the job. To be found, you must practice effective personal SEO (search engine optimization), consistently and appropriately using the right keywords for you, including your most important keywords. In this session, learn how to discover the best keywords for you and how to use them effectively to be found on Google, in social media, and in employer applicant tracking systems.

Susan has been laid off twice and knows the pain that results from job loss. Her goal is to help job seekers understand how to smartly and safely find new jobs as quickly as possible in this environment which continually evolves as technology and the economy impact employers and recruiting.
