ESOL Rise

English Language Training, Digital Literacy, and Job Search Assistance

  • 120 hours of English training: 60 hours of beginner lessons/60 hours of intermediate
  • Classed conducted at Middlesex Community College in Lowell
  • Intenstive career readiness and job search assistance
  • Digital Literacy: Computer basics, keyboarding, file managements, Internet browsing

Eligibility:

  • Previously lived in a emergency shelter or in a family with at least one child or dependent under the age of 21
  • Masschusetts resident
  • Valid work authorization for one year
  • Unemployed or Underemployed
  • Have basic English proficiency
  • Willingness to work full-time on completion
  • Able to attend in-person class sessions
