The goal of the Nurse Assistant Training is to help prepare students to sit for the Massachusetts State Certification Exam and to safely and effectively learn how to care for residents in long-term care as well as to obtain a certification as a Home Health Aide.
This 100-hour certificate training program (including 24 clinical hours at a long-term care facility) will prepare students for an entry-level career in health care as a Nurse Assistant. After successful completion, students will have the skills to work in a home health care environment.
