Training Opportunity: Behavioral Health
Free training in the following occupations:
- Addiction Counselor
- Recovery Coach
- Therapeutic Mentor
- Mental Health Peer Support Specialist
Behavioral Health Workers assess and treat individuals with mental, emotional, or substance abuse problems. Typical activities in these careers may include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, prevention, and education.
Training:
Training courses are located at several locations with a variety of start dates.
Eligibility:
- Unemployed or underemployed
- Commitment to completing the training program
- Ability to work a variety of shifts
- Genuine interest in moving into a healthcare career pathway
