Under direction of Head Mechanic, assists in supervision and participates in the overall maintenance of the Water Treatment Plant and its related support functions.

Supports the Pretreatment Coordinator to implement the Utility’s Industrial Pretreatment Program (IPP) by performing the necessary daily activities assigned. Performs and conducts laboratory testing, research, analysis and experimentation and maintains laboratory systems.

Responsible for the administration of water and sewer services on customer accounts. Including but not limited to researching accounts to ensure accuracy, generation of final water bills, quarterly bill and fire service bill runs, providing reports for management, preparing commitments for City Auditor, mediating
customer billing disputes, providing customer service by phone, email and in person, oversight of Billing Administrators in Managers absence, assist Manager with special projects.
