DEPUTY DIRECTOR FINANCE
Responsible for the day to day administration of the financial and administrative services directly or through subordinate supervision including business management, grant management, budget oversight, payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, contract maintenance, financial reporting, customer service and general services. Coordinates activities of clerical personnel in the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department by performing duties personally or through subordinate clerical staff; plans, organizes, directs, and controls the daily schedule of clerical employees and duties,
HVAC TECHNICIAN/ CRAFTSPERSON
Unstall heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment including related fixtures; check heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment for malfunctions; maintains and repairs related equipment and performs related work as required.
WATER FOREPERSON
Responsible for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of water mains, services, pipes; supervises and directs men in a lower grade level; prepares reports and keeps records of service repairs.
PAYROLL SYSTEMS ANALYST
The Payroll Systems Analyst oversees and maintains the payroll systems for both City and Schools; including the maintenance of all payroll and databases; ensures the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of payroll data; and establishes and enforces payroll procedures and policies; supervises payroll staff and provides indirect supervision and guidance to decentralized payroll clerical staff and support personnel in all City and School departments.
MEO GRADE 3 LABORER
Under the direction of the Public Works Director or designee, MEO Grade III/ Laborer operates heavy motorized equipment and performs duties in the care and maintenance of city streets and sidewalks, public lands and buildings throughout the City. Specific worksites and assignments may vary to meet the needs of the City as assigned through the Public Works Director or designee.
GRADE B JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN / FIRE ALARM & TRAFFIC SIGNAL
Supervises and works with electrical employees engaged in construction, maintenance and repair of electric power, municipal traffic and fire alarm maintenance systems and lighting by performing the following duties.
TRANSPORTATION PROJECT ENGINEER
The Transportation Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Transportation Engineer in maintaining and enhancing the transportation system in the City ofLowell. Diverse responsibilities include addressing neighborhood traffic inquiries, reviewing traffic management for private development, managing the citywide pavement marking program, and responding to Council inquiriesfor ordinance changes.
