Performs duties in the construction, maintenance and operation of water systems and distribution systems throughout the city.

Under direct supervision; operates, maintains and repairs sewage treatment machinery and equipment. Makes routine laboratory tests and sewage at various stages of treatment in accordance with standardized procedures and adds treatment materials as required.
