This guest speaker event will examine online networking with LinkedIn versus in-person networking. Our guest speaker, Kevin Willett, is a master networker, having established Friends of Kevin, a networking program for small businesses. Kevin is what you would call a connector. He has the uncanny ability to remember hundreds of people and connect them to each other.

On the flipside, Bob McIntosh will discuss the value of online networking with LinkedIn. Bob has developed a community on LinkedIn which has allowed him to call upon many people to offer mutual support. But he believes that LinkedIn is only part of the networking solution. Case in point, Kevin and Bob were introduced at a Friends of Kevin event.

Kevin Willett is now an adjunct professor at UMass Lowell, Southern New Hampshire University, and Nashua Community College; no doubt a result of becoming known in the education community through his gift of networking. He continues to spread the word on networking with regular videos he posts on LinkedIn. Kevin’s professed weakness is Mountain Dew soda.
