Training: CNC Machine Operator

The CNC Machine Operator training program is a pre-employment introduction to precision machining averaging 250-300 hours and including hands-on technical training, shop math, metrology and inspection, blueprint reading, and OSHA 10 General Safety. Graduates will be prepared for entry-level CNC Machine Operator, Quality Control Inspection, and Manual Machining positions in a variety of companies and industries, as well as for office-related engineering and purchasing support roles.

  • OSHA 10 General Industry Safety & Health
  • CNC Lathes and Mills
  • Manual Lathes and Mills
  • Exposure to Master CAM
  • GDT
  • Match for Machining
  • Metrology & Inspection
  • Blueprint Reading
  • Tooling U Online
  • Job Placement Assistance

Schedule:
May 11 – July 27, 2026
Mondays – Fridays: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
Center for Manufacturing, Woburn, MA

Eligibility:

  • Massachusetts resident
  • 18+ years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.A.
  • Unemployed or underemployed
