ESOL Rise
English Language Training, Digital Literacy, and Job Search Assistance
- 120 hours of English training: 60 hours of beginner lessons/60 hours of intermediate
- Classed conducted at Middlesex Community College in Lowell
- Intenstive career readiness and job search assistance
- Digital Literacy: Computer basics, keyboarding, file managements, Internet browsing
Eligibility:
- Previously lived in a emergency shelter or in a family with at least one child or dependent under the age of 21
- Masschusetts resident
- Valid work authorization for one year
- Unemployed or Underemployed
- Have basic English proficiency
- Willingness to work full-time on completion
- Able to attend in-person class sessions
